Job summary

Blue Collar Services in the Bay Area is seeking an experienced Garage Door Service & Sales Technician. The role offers a base of $75,000–$85,000 plus performance bonuses, with a company-provided vehicle and gas card.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing, repairing, or installing garage doors
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
• Comfortable communicating with homeowners and recommending solutions
• Sales experience is a plus, but strong customer service skills are just as important
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls
• Valid driver's license and a professional, dependable attitude

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential garage doors and opener systems
• Work with springs, cables, tracks, rollers, motors, and other garage door components
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions
• Explain service options and pricing clearly to homeowners
• Provide estimates and help customers make informed decisions
• Deliver professional, high-quality service while building customer trust
• Manage daily service appointments and complete accurate job documentation
