Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service is hiring a Garage Door Installer to repair, replace, and install garage door parts at customers’ locations in the Plainview, NY area. You will diagnose issues, educate customers on options, and sell services using our proven model. You’ll receive training, a company-provided vehicle, and a path to growth.

On-site role with independent work but team support available. The position offers hourly pay ranging from $30 to $50 based on experience, with comprehensive

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Experience in the garage door industry is preferred but not required – training provided.
• Able to use a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Repair and install garage door parts and equipment on-site at customer locations.
• Diagnose and repair garage doors and door operators; replace worn parts and springs.
• Educate customers on options and explain work performed after completion.
• Sell services, repairs, and new equipment using the company model.
• Manage inventory in the vehicle and ensure proper tools and products are available.
