Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service in New York is seeking a motivated Garage Door Installer. You will be trained and receive a company vehicle and tools to perform repairs, replacements, and installations for customers.

You will explain service options, ensure safety, and work independently with support from our office team. Competitive hourly pay from $30 to $50, plus benefits and PTO as part of our commitment to your success.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills are a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in heat and cold outside and in non-temperature-controlled garages.
• Have interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and solve issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair garage doors, operators, and worn/broken parts.
• Educate customers on options and review work performed to ensure understanding.
• Sell services and new equipment using a good/better/best model and collect payment.
• Manage inventory and tools in your vehicle to complete jobs.
