Job summary

Banko Overhead Doors in Ocala, FL is seeking a hands-on Garage Door Installer to install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial overhead doors and openers. This fast-paced role fits someone mechanically inclined who enjoys problem-solving, outdoor work, and customer interaction.

Training starts at $22/hr; after training, compensation aligns with performance and market rates. You will drive to job sites, use carpentry and mechanical skills, and ensure safety and quality on every project

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on skills.
• Ability to work full-time outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year MVR.
• Experience in garage doors, construction, framing, HVAC, or similar trades preferred.
• Able to lift 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain overhead garage doors and openers.
• Use carpentry and mechanical skills with hand/power tools.
• Drive to job sites and complete assigned work orders.
• Inspect and ensure proper function of mechanical/electronic components.
• Communicate with customers to provide excellent service.
• Document completed work and maintain parts inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe work site and company vehicle.
