Job summary

Banko Overhead Doors LLC in Orlando, FL is seeking a hands-on Garage Door Installer to install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial overhead doors and openers. This fast-paced role requires mechanical aptitude and outdoor work, with training starting at $22 per hour.

You'll travel to job sites, use carpentry and power tools, ensure safety and quality, and provide excellent customer service. This full-time position offers medical/dental, 401(k), PTO, holiday pay, and advancement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined and hands-on skillset.
• Ability to work full-time outdoors.
• Valid drivers license with a clean 3-year MVR required.
• Experience in garage doors, construction, framing, HVAC, or similar trades preferred.
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain overhead garage doors and openers.
• Use carpentry, mechanical skills, and hand/power tools.
• Drive to job sites and complete assigned work orders.
• Inspect and ensure proper function of mechanical/electronic components.
• Communicate with customers to provide excellent service.
• Document completed work and maintain parts inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe work site and company vehicle.
