Job summary

Banko Overhead Doors in Florida is seeking a Garage Door Installer to install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial overhead doors and openers. This role is fast-paced, outdoors, and ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys problem-solving.

You will drive to job sites, use hand and power tools, and ensure safety and quality on every project. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 70+ lbs are required; pre-employment background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Mechanically inclined and hands-on skillset.
• Ability to pass a background check is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year MVR.
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs and work outdoors.
• Experience in garage doors or construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain overhead garage doors and openers.
• Use carpentry, mechanical skills, and hand/power tools.
• Drive to job sites and complete assigned work orders.
• Inspect and ensure proper function of mechanical/electronic components.
• Communicate with customers to provide excellent service.
• Document completed work and maintain parts inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe work site and company vehicle.
