Responsibilities:

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Answering phones in a warm and friendly manner when guests call to retrieve a car. Collect all necessary information from the guest to ensure the car is brought to the drive.
  • Handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolving customer complaints, and assisting with inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operation, key personnel, in-house events, etc.
  • Warmly greeting guests who want to retrieve a parked car. Collecting payment for parking services and accurately posting the payment.
  • Directing valet parkers to retrieve the car.
  • Completing various reports regarding tickets and payments.
  • Attaching rooms to ticket numbers for accurate inventory management.
  • Removing physical tickets from the inventory once the guest has checked out and the car is no longer in the garage.
  • Maintaining a system for new overnight vehicles with room numbers attached.
  • Reporting No Posts accounts and ensuring correct charges are inputted by a manager or supervisor in conjunction with the Front Desk.
  • Reporting daily cars not in the system when called for.
  • Addressing shortcomings in guest services.
  • Organizing and ensuring the cleaning of hotel house cars and guests' vehicles.
  • Submitting the cashier's daily folder and reporting discrepancies.
  • Depositing all cash receipts according to established procedures.
  • Maintaining copies of cashier checklists, bank audit logs, and daily logs.
  • Assisting with self-parking credentials and procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Creating VATS for upcoming events.
  • Completing validations for upcoming events as required.
  • Maintaining valet ticket inventory.
  • Maintaining a flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • At least one year of experience as a Valet Parking Attendant in a luxury hospitality setting.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
