Position Details

Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $17.28 per hour

Description

Purpose: To process and collect all money for daily sales accurately, provide excellent customer service, and support store promotions to increase sales.

Responsibilities

1. Operate assigned cash registers and verify till accuracy, reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
2. Assist customers courteously, guiding them appropriately and maintaining a high level of customer service.
3. Ensure all merchandise, including shoes, jewelry, and accessories, are properly displayed, stocked, and maintained.
4. Manage shopping carts and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
5. Adhere to safety policies, report injuries or hazards immediately, and ensure all receipts and documentation are accurately completed.
6. Prepare necessary tools and supplies for the workstation, notifying supervisors of needs.
7. Manage cash change efficiently, avoiding multiple trips.
8. Take breaks and lunches on time, coordinating with coworkers.
9. Follow company policies regarding discounts and transaction goals (130 transactions per day).
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English, with proficiency in reading and writing.
• Proper attire and grooming as per dress code.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and reach daily.
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance; overtime may be required.
