Job summary

Horizon House is seeking a Garage Attendant/Parking Valet in Seattle. The role centers on greeting patrons, managing tickets, and safely parking and retrieving vehicles for residents, guests and staff.

You will maintain the garage and assist with elevators when requested. Starting pay is $21.74–$24.65 per hour on a union scale, with a weekend schedule and full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 403(b), and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of valet/parking attendant or customer service experience.
• Washington State driver's license in good standing.
• Experience operating both manual and automatic transmission vehicles preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

Available Schedule:

• Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 8:30am to 5:00pm, Tuesday, Wednesday: 7:00am to 3:30pm

Horizon House is seeking an enthusiastic and courteous Garage Attendant/Parking Valet. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service in welcoming and assisting our residents, guests, and employees at Horizon House. As a Garage Attendant/Parking valet, your primary focus will be greeting patrons of the garage, managing the ticketing system, safely operating vehicles, achieving goals through teamwork, and helping create an enjoyable work environment.

What You'll Do

• Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanor in accordance with Horizon House core values.
• Safely park and retrieve vehicles
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the garage and valet office
• Ensure all vehicles are handled with care and respect
• Issue valet tickets for vehicles belonging to guests, visitors and employees.
• Ensure that all who park in the garage are charged accurately.
• Assist with loading and unloading resident and guest vehicles.
• Provide assistance to the elevators if necessary and as requested by residents, guests or management.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• A valid Washington State driver license in good standing; driving history clear of major moving violations and accidents
• One year of experience in a valet/parking attendant and/or customer service position or a related field
• Experience operating both a manual and automatic transmission vehicle is preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge
