Job summary

Gap Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Manager, Product Journey within the Office of AI to own a defined portion of the Indigo X execution roadmap.

You will translate priorities into executable work and coordinate cross-functional teams from concept through testing and delivery with clear outcomes. You will drive pilots, define success measures, manage risks, and report progress to leadership, partnering with product, marketing, technology, and data teams to turn ideas into measurable business

Qualifications

  • Ability to translate broad strategic priorities into concrete roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Strong collaboration across product, marketing, technology and other functions.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams without requiring direct authority over every contributor.
  • Excellent communicator with both business and technical audiences.
  • Strong problem solver who can manage ambiguity while maintaining delivery momentum.
  • Comfort evaluating emerging technology through a business-value lens.
  • Experience establishing success measures and using evidence to inform next-step decisions.
  • Familiarity with Agile or product-delivery practices.

  • Define objectives and success measures for pilots and test-and-learn initiatives.
  • Prepare initiatives for relevant review and stage-gate decisions.
  • Capture learnings from pilots and recommend whether initiatives should iterate, scale, or stop.
  • Communicate progress, outcomes, and risks to Product Journey and Office of AI leadership.

About the role

The Office of AI at Gap Inc. is seeking a Manager, Product Journey to own a defined portion of the Indigo X execution roadmap. The role provides dedicated delivery leadership within the Product Journey as its scope expands across product and marketing-related AI opportunities.You will translate journey priorities into executable work, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure initiatives move from concept through testing and delivery with clear outcomes.

  • Ability to translate broad strategic priorities into concrete roadmaps and delivery plans.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI, emerging technology, digital product development, or innovation programs.
  • Familiarity with retail product creation, merchandising, marketing, or creative workflows.
  • Experience operating test-and-learn programs or taking pilots toward scale.
  • Familiarity with Agile or product-delivery practices.
Salary Range:

$142,300.00 - $185,000.00

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
