Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group in Draper, Utah is seeking a Total Care Auto Gap Claims Specialist to support customers with claim processing and education. You will work with the Claims Manager Life & Casualty to manage Gap, Theft (VTR/VTA) and Lease Wear & Tear (LWT) claims, delivering timely, accurate service.

We look for detail-oriented individuals who communicate clearly, can work independently and with a team, and maintain high ethical standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process Gap, Theft (VTR/VTA) and Lease Wear & Tear (LWT) Claims in a timely manner per policies and procedures.
• Log all customer communications and maintain records.
• Communicate policy requirements and explain the process per the contract with the customer.
• Support the Recovery Process to ensure insurance payments are correct.
• Perform other projects and tasks as requested by management.

Total Care Auto Gap Claims Specialist:

Primary Responsibilities:

• The Gap Claims Specialist is expected to
• Provide claims support to customers.
• Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful.
• Seek ways to provide superior support to customers and team members.

Reports to: Claims Manager Life & Casualty

Primary Duties:

• Process Gap, Theft (VTR/VTA) and Lease Wear & Tear (LWT) Claims in a timely manner per policies and procedures.
• Works the Recovery Process to ensure that insurance companies are paying correctly.
• Communicate policy requirements and explain the process per the contract with the customer.
• Log all customer communications.
• Perform other projects and tasks requested.
• Operate with integrity.
• Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.
• Maintain ability to handle job stress and effective interaction with others in the workplace.
• Set an example of outstanding attendance, positive attitude, professionalism, including orderly and safe work environment.
• Communicate and resolve customer complaints to appropriate management.
• Perform all other job duties as requested by management.
