The Illinois Gaming Board seeks a seasoned Gaming Technology Manager to lead the new Gaming Technology Unit. You will oversee certification and tracking of gaming equipment statewide, and develop policy and procedures to support regulatory operations.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the Illinois Gambling Act, Video Gaming Act, and Sports Wagering Act, plus experience with testing and certification processes. This is a full-time state role with diverse regulatory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in business or public administration.
Requires prior experience equivalent to three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.

Responsabilités

Serves as Subject Matter Expert for Gaming Technology systems, requirements and policies.
Oversees gaming technology unit, certification and tracking of equipment in Illinois.
Develops rules and policies to comply with gaming regulations and administers reports on gaming trends.
Acts as full-line supervisor of the unit and liaison to regulators.
Ensures oversight of approved gaming locations and performs related duties as required.
