Job summary

The State of Illinois - Illinois Gaming Board seeks a Gaming Technology Manager to act as a subject matter expert on gaming equipment, software, and systems. This role leads the Gaming Technology Unit, handling certification and statewide tracking while developing policies and expanding the Board's technological capabilities.

The ideal candidate will understand the Illinois Gambling Act, Video Gaming Act, and Sports Wagering Act, plus gaming equipment testing and certification processes, and

Qualifications

Four years of college-level education, preferably in business or public administration.
Three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
Three years of professional experience in gambling or gaming industry.
Three years of professional experience in a regulated industry or regulator.
Ability to pass IGB background investigation and hold a valid driver's license.
Knowledge of the Illinois Gambling Act, Video Gaming Act, and Sports Wagering Act.
