Job summary

The Catawba Nation Gaming Commission seeks a Technical Compliance Officer to ensure all gaming-related systems, software, and equipment comply with the Gaming Ordinance, Tribal-State Compact, and federal regulations. You will coordinate testing, certification, and inspections for devices, software, and related equipment on the casino floor.

You will review technical submissions, oversee software updates, and maintain comprehensive records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming systems, machines, video games, sports books, table games equipment and software, IT or regulatory compliance in a gaming or highly regulated environment.
• Experience in the gaming tech industry with advanced technical skills is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with Catawba Gaming Ordinance, Gaming Commission regulations, Tribal-State Compact, and internal controls.
• Review and approve technical submissions, system modifications, and software updates.
• Conduct routine and unannounced inspections of gaming devices, networks, and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, approvals, and corrective actions.
