Job summary

GameStop Florence, KY is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to work on-site. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, maintain inventory, and ensure a clean, organized shopping environment.

The role requires leadership, customer service excellence, and the ability to train and supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders. Must meet legal work requirements and have retail management experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service; greet guests and assist with gaming needs.
• Support store operations, visual merchandising, promotions, and guest relationships.
• Process purchases/returns using POS with accuracy and courtesy.
• Respond to guest questions in person or by phone and escalate to the Store Manager when needed.
• Promote GameStop guest benefits and loyalty programs.
• Train and supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in policies and procedures.
• Ensure onboarding and compliance training before shifts; manage scheduling and payroll tasks.
• Maintain store cleanliness, inventory control, and loss prevention practices.
