Job summary

Colonial Downs Group, part of Churchill Downs Incorporated, seeks a Gaming Operations Supervisor to assist with day-to-day operations of the gaming department, ensuring compliance and profitability across Virginia properties. You will hire, train, and develop staff, manage workloads, and oversee payroll, jackpot procedures, and guest service interactions, while maintaining regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role in a high-volume setting.
• Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring, training, and development of gaming operations staff.
• Plan workloads, assign staff, and evaluate performance.
• Oversee payroll processes and departmental records.
• Ensure accurate jackpot transactions and compliance with controls.
• Maintain HHR machine knowledge and oversee floor staffing levels.
• Coordinate with department managers and provide excellent guest service.
• Document reports and support Gaming Operations Manager initiatives.
