Job summary

The Athletics Event Staff position at Stetson University supports a safe, organized gameday experience for student-athletes, fans, officials, and guests. Working with the Athletics Facilities and Event Operations team, you will assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of NCAA Division I athletic contests and events, providing outstanding customer service and teamwork in varied weather and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with game day operations for home athletic events.
• Perform event assignments such as scoreboard, videoboard, music, ushering, fan assistance.
• Assist with special events and postseason competitions.
• Provide outstanding customer service to fans, student-athletes, coaches, officials, and event personnel.
• Work collaboratively with Athletics staff and other campus departments.
• Solve operational issues during events while maintaining professionalism and safety.
• Stand for extended periods, outdoors, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the athletics event schedule.
