Job summary

KRAFTON Americas is seeking a skilled security-focused C++ developer to build and enhance KSS Anti-Cheat and client security features for Windows game environments. You will analyze threats between game clients and the OS, and design robust security capabilities with performance in mind.

Responsibilities include developing modules, handling kernel/user-mode security, and evaluating new bypass techniques. A strong Windows runtime and security background is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ software development skills.
• Experience developing Windows-based client software or equivalent.
• Understanding of Windows internals including processes, threads, memory, DLLs and PE structures.
• Ability to understand x64 assembly and analyze disassembled code.
• Understanding of core OS concepts such as kernels, drivers, system calls, interrupts and memory management.
• Security-focused mindset to prevent bypasses and tampering.

Responsibilities

• Develop C++-based game security / Anti-Cheat client modules.
• Detect and respond to cheat behaviors such as client tampering and memory manipulation.
• Design and implement user-mode and kernel-mode security features.
• Conduct security analysis based on Windows internals and OS behavior.
• Review and improve stability, performance and false-positive risk of security detection logic.
• Analyze new cheat techniques and research defensive technologies.
• Provide technical support to ensure KSS security features work across game environments.
