Job summary

Player 15 Group, the company behind the Phoenix Suns, is seeking experienced Game Night Assistants, Communications for Suns home games. You will support the Communications team with event day media relations, credentials, and posting materials.

This role requires night, weekend, and holiday availability, strong writing skills, and comfort handling confidential information. You’ll work indoors at the arena, helping with media setup, statistics distribution, and postgame quotes while contributing

Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced game-night environment.
• Professional, personable demeanor with discretion.
• Basic NBA knowledge and familiarity with Suns basketball.
• Authorized to access confidential information.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays for home games.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications or related fields.
• Experience in sports is preferred.

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Game Night Assistants, Communciations to join our team for Phoenix Suns home games. The game night staff will assist the Communications team with the implementation of all the team’s communications and media relations efforts on game nights.

Your Role on the Team

• Assist with the setup of the media work room

Your Skills And Experience

• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel on a computer

• Basic knowledge of the NBA, Phoenix Suns and basketball in general
• Privy to confidential information that is not to be shared
• Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays for all Valley Suns home games
• High school diploma or GED
• Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications or related fields such as Public Relations and Marketing required
• Previous writing experience preferred
• Experience in sports preferred
• If applicable (role-specific):
• Ability to transit throughout the arena for long periods of time.
• This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is
• S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
• Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person.
• Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
