Job summary

IGT is seeking a Game Mathematician to design mathematical models that drive gameplay and payouts. You will work at the intersection of math, software engineering, and game design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn concepts into live games and refine math through testing.

This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with probability and statistics, and programming familiarity. You will help ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements and contribute to ongoing

We’re creating a pipeline for future openings for our Game Mathematicians who will build and refine the systems that drive gameplay, payouts, and player experience across IGT’s portfolio.

In this exciting role you’ll be working at the intersection of math, software engineering, and game design—partnering with cross-functional teams to turn concepts into fully realized games, test how they perform, and fine‑tune the logic behind every outcome.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• Candidates with experience in mathematical modeling, game math, casino game math, or similar quantitative work
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and combinatorics
• Advanced Excel skills for modeling and analysis
• Programming experience or familiarity with Python, Java, C#, or C++
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability
• Ability to collaborate within a cross‑disciplinary game development team
