IGT in Reno, NV is seeking a Game Mathematician II to build and refine math systems that drive gameplay, payouts, and player experience across the portfolio.

You will work at the intersection of math, software engineering, and game design—partnering with cross-functional teams to turn concepts into playable games, test them, and fine-tune the logic behind every outcome. This is a hybrid role based in our Reno studio.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mathematical modeling, game math, casino game math, or similar quantitative work.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and combinatorics.
• Advanced Excel skills for modeling and analysis.
• Programming experience or familiarity with Python, Java, C#, or C++.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to collaborate within a cross-disciplinary game development team.
• Curiosity and initiative to explore new ideas and improve gameplay.
