Job summary

Mountain Recreation seeks a Sports Site Supervisor to oversee on-site operations for leagues and activities across Eagle County facilities. You will lead officials, volunteers, and staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for participants and spectators.

The role emphasizes strong communication, safety-first mindset, and the ability to adapt to changing activities. Schedule varies and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Part-time, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in recreation, organized sports, or related field, or any satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience.]
• Must possess, or obtain within 30 days of hire, First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and oversee on-site operation of leagues, games, and activities with direction from Sports Coordinator.
• Provide leadership to referees, volunteers, and program staff.
• Monitor safety and environment; respond to incidents and emergencies per procedures.
• Set up and break down equipment; maintain program records and reports.
• Attend trainings and meetings and perform other duties as needed.
