Job summary

The Gwinnett Stripers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, seek a Manager of Promotions to plan and execute in-game entertainment, including mascots and non-sponsored elements. Coordinate theme nights, promotions, and sponsor communications with Sales and Corporate Client Services for sponsorships and ticket sales.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Passion for sports and entertainment with a fan-centric mindset.
• Familiarity with baseball is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work on short notice.
• Willingness to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Proactively research trends and best practices to stay ahead in promotions.
• Oversee promotions calendar creation and maintenance for accessible planning.
• Develop theme night plans including pregame, in-game, and postgame elements to attract sponsors.
• Coordinate logistics for game day appearances and entertainment.
• Work with Corporate Client Services Manager to ensure contracts, including MiLB contracts, are executed.
• Manage execution of both sponsored and non-sponsored promotions.
• Ensure event scripts are engaging and meet sponsor goals.
• Coordinate with outside organizations for displays and opportunities.
• Procure items for sponsored promotions and meet marketing deadlines.
• Oversee scheduling of national anthem singers and assist with add-on sales.
• Collaborate with Marketing to plan and evaluate promotional campaigns.
• Clearly communicate promotions to staff, customers and fans to boost attendance.
• Assist with video shoots/appearances for promotion and sponsorship sales.
• Schedule staffing for games/events and supervise gameday staff.
• Maintain select software systems related to game and event operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
