Job summary

Rio Rancho LLC is seeking a Merchandise Associate to support home games and select events. You will handle sales, assist fans, operate POS systems, and maintain merchandise displays. The role requires reliability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced event environment.

Responsibilities include restocking, setup/breakdown of stores, inventory management, and providing a positive shopping experience for Goatheads fans. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, hospitality, or event experience preferred.
• Experience operating point-of-sale systems or handling cash preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays per event schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist with merchandise sales during home games and events.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to fans.
• Operate POS systems and process cash/credit card transactions accurately.
• Assist customers with questions, sizing, availability, and purchasing decisions.
• Maintain clean, organized merchandise displays.
• Restock merchandise as inventory changes.
• Set up and break down team store and portable retail locations.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing merchandise inventory.
• Monitor areas and notify coordinator of low stock or issues.
• Follow cash-handling, inventory, and POS procedures.
• Participate in end-of-night cleanup and closing procedures.
