Job summary

Monumental Sports & Entertainment is seeking a part-time Media Relations professional to support the Washington Wizards Public Relations team during all Wizards home games in the 2026-27 season.

The role requires strong communication skills, an interest in sports, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Bachelor's degree or progress toward one is required, and prior PR/communications or journalism experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Customer-service orientation is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and on a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with media room and media seating setup.
• Deliver credentials to media.
• Help direct, service, and monitor media throughout the duration of the event.
• Support game day and special event needs.
