Job summary

The Santa Cruz Warriors are seeking part-time Ball Persons for the 2026-2027 basketball season, based in Santa Cruz, CA. You will help keep the locker room clean, manage laundry, and support the team and operations staff during games.

Ideal candidates bring customer-service experience, a passion for basketball, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Position requires working most home games with 5-hour game-day shifts (4:00pm–9:00pm) and pays $16.90 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment and creating a memorable fan experience.
• Deep understanding of basketball.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• High energy, meticulous, and hard-working.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Mopping the court during games to ensure player and guest safety
• Distribute water, towels, and other game time necessities
• Coordinating and prioritizing various team related items during a game
• Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and storing towels and uniforms
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of locker room and equipment room
• Assist with bench setups/teardown
• Attend to player, staff, and referee needs as directed
• Other duties as assigned
