Job summary

University of North Carolina Wilmington is seeking Temporary Athletics Event Staff to support home athletics events and enhance the game day experience for fans and participants.

Responsibilities include operating shot clocks, video/replay, statisticians, PA announcements, music, scoreboard operation, and play-by-play duties. This is a temporary, as-needed position requiring flexibility, reliability, and willingness to work evenings and weekends at UNCW venues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Must be highly dependable, flexible, and available to work evenings and weekends.
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time both indoors and outdoors.
• Work effectively as a team member.
• Previous experience preferred.
