Valmont is seeking a motivated General Shop Help in Sioux City, Iowa, to prepare parts for the galvanizing process, hang angles on spreader bars, and stage tubular products. The role requires hand tooling, basic measurements, and adherence to safety procedures in a busy plant environment.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and prior experience with hand tools, gauges, and basic manufacturing tasks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Strong safety awareness at all times.
• Able to communicate problems or needs to supervision.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long shifts.

Responsabilités

• Prepare products and materials for galvanizing and finish preparation.
• Hang angle on spreader bars and stage tubular products.
• Assist in general plant cleanliness and maintain safe work environment.
• Operate tools and equipment and use PPE as required.
