Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Night Auditor to support the Hyatt Place Austin Downtown location. You will assist guests at the front desk, balance all hotel transactions daily, and run audits to ensure accurate revenues and statistics.

The role emphasizes excellent guest service, privacy, and the ability to respond to emergencies. The position requires a customer-service mindset, independence, and attention to detail, with willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally at the front desk.
• Provide excellent guest service throughout shift.
• Balance hotel and restaurant transactions daily (credit cards, cash, change funds).
• Follow credit, cash-handling, and accounting procedures.
• Run audits and reports and record revenues and statistics accurately.
• Read and explain reports, guest folios, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
• Respond to guest concerns or complaints and resolve issues.
• Respond to emergencies and perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• A Gallery Night Auditor will assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all front desk related functions
• Provide excellent guest service
• Balance all hotel and restaurant transactions daily, including credit cards, cash, and change funds
• Consistently follow all credit, cash-handling, and accounting procedures
• Run various audits and reports and record all revenues and statistics accurately
• Read, analyze, interpret, and effectively explain items such as common reports, guest folios and emergency procedures
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all guest and hotel information
• Effectively respond to and resolve guest concerns or complaints
• Respond to emergency situationsPerform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
