Job summary

Chihuly Garden and Glass is seeking a Gallery Attendant to provide a safe, welcoming environment for Guests and Team Members at the Seattle Center exhibition. You will help manage guest flow, share information about the artwork, and support day-to-day operations across departments in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes excellent guest service, a professional appearance, and the ability to engage diverse visitors while following policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven guest service skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Interest in museums and visual art is a plus but not required.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Knowledge of Seattle and surrounding area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, courteous, and professional attitude and appearance to guests and team members.
• Circulate through posts to deter vandalism, theft or negligence and ensure guest safety.
• Interact with the public in a courteous and respectful manner while upholding policies.
• Monitor exhibition areas and report concerns to management or security.
• Assist in opening/closing routines and daily operations with other departments.
• Provide information about the exhibition and assist with interpretation of artwork.
