Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Palm Beach, FL for a Gallery Associate. The Gallery Associate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, assisting visitors, maintaining gallery displays, providing detailed information about exhibits and artwork, and supporting sales efforts. The role also involves fostering a professional and welcoming atmosphere, managing inquiries, and contributing to the gallery’s overall mission of promoting art and artists.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Communication skills, including verbal and written interactions with clients and colleagues.
• Experience and knowledge in Gallery operations and Art Gallery management.
• Background or demonstrated interest in Art History and the fine art industry.
• Sales skills with the ability to negotiate and connect with clients, enhancing their gallery experience.
• A genuine passion for art and the ability to convey that enthusiasm to visitors and patrons.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage daily operations effectively.
• Prior experience in retail, art sales, or museum/gallery work is a plus.
