Role Description The Art Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Fe, NM, responsible for guiding clients through the process of viewing, selecting, and acquiring fine art. Day-to-day tasks include presenting artwork and artists’ stories to visitors, conducting personalized consultations, and recommending pieces that align with clients’ aesthetic preferences and spaces. The role involves managing sales transactions, maintaining accurate inventory and client records, and supporting gallery operations such as exhibition setup, display adjustments, and opening events. The Art Consultant also conducts basic market and artist research to stay informed about trends, assists with gallery communications, and helps ensure the gallery remains organized, welcoming, and visually compelling for all guests.

• Previous experience in an art gallery, museum, interior design, or luxury retail setting is preferred; coursework or a degree in Art, Art History, or a related field is beneficial.
