Job summary

The Jacksonville Symphony seeks an experienced Development Events Manager to lead flagship donor events, including the Annual Gala and Patron Party. You will partner with Marketing, Production and Artistic teams to design experiences that engage supporters and elevate fundraising results.

Responsibilities include planning budgets, coordinating logistics, stewarding donors, managing vendor relationships, and producing event materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in event planning; nonprofit experience preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the Annual Gala and Patron Party with defined budgets and timelines.
• Oversee contracts, volunteers, catering staff, and event logistics.
• Coordinate décor, entertainment, and donor recognition for events.
• Serve as primary liaison with Gala Committee and cross‑department teams.
• Develop donor‑centric event materials and invitations with marketing.
• Manage donor lists, sponsorships, and post‑event reporting.
