GS TRADING COMPANIES LLC is looking for a talented Bookkeeper to join their team in Rockville, Maryland. The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with all legal requirements, and prepare financial statements. Responsibilities include analyzing financial performance, performing reconciliations, and assisting in budget development. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain and review general ledger activity on a monthly basis and review/prepare monthly account analysis.
• Assist in the development of budgets, planning, and other corporate financial projects.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare sales tax returns, business tax license renewals and other business-related tax reporting requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting systems and processes.
• Stay updated on changes in securities law and accounting regulations.
