Job summary

Soni is partnering with an expanding client to fill the Financial Reporting Manager role in New Jersey. This position leads financial reporting, consolidation, and close activities in line with U.S. GAAP, shaping actionable insights and driving process improvements.

You will mentor the team, oversee audits, and partner with cross-functional teams on SAP S/4HANA implementations and finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• Minimum five years in accounting or financial reporting; public accounting a plus.
• Experience with financial reporting, consolidations, month-end close, reconciliations.
• SAP S/4HANA experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close processes.
• Oversee consolidated financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and ensure balance sheet integrity.
• Analyze results, identify trends, and provide insights to leadership.
• Coordinate with audits and strengthen internal controls.
• Lead finance transformation and automation initiatives.
