Job summary

SanMar-Internal is seeking an Accountant to support consolidation, financial reporting, intercompany, and monthly reconciliations. You will record transactions, update the general ledger, reconcile accounts, and assist with issue escalation.

Responsibilities include the monthly close, GAAP compliance, preparing and auditing reports, assisting with year-end audit, and delivering scheduled and ad hoc reports. Hybrid work in Issaquah, WA with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have solid understanding of GAAP and accounting policies.
• Experience with monthly/quarterly consolidation and financial reporting.
• Ability to prepare and audit financial statements with accuracy.
• Experience in fast-paced environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and assist controller in preparation of monthly/quarterly consolidated financial statements.
• Contribute to the month-end close process to ensure timely, accurate financial data in line with GAAP and policies, with clear status reporting.
• Conduct fact checks, resolve discrepancies, gather and analyze information.
• Prepare and audit financial reports.
• Assist with year-end external audit.
• Produce scheduled and ad hoc reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
