Job summary

The Apex Agency is seeking a Freelance Google Analytics (GA4) Consultant to optimize analytics and reporting for a large, content-driven website migrating from UA to GA4. You’ll audit, configure, and extend GA4 to deliver actionable insights while working independently.

This role emphasizes strategic recommendations over simple requests, with hands-on work in GA4, BigQuery, and Looker Studio. You’ll help define KPIs, build dashboards, and provide ongoing guidance on evolving analytics needs for

Qualifications

Deep GA4 configuration, implementation and reporting experience.
Proficiency with BigQuery for GA4 data exports and custom queries.
Experience building dashboards in Looker Studio / Data Studio.
Ability to translate business questions into meaningful analytics and KPIs.
Experience with large, content-heavy websites is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Audit current GA4 implementation to identify gaps in configuration, tracking and reporting.
Recreate or replace UA workflows and audiences in GA4 as needed.
Develop reports and dashboards to improve visibility into user behavior and KPIs.
Define and validate meaningful KPIs for a content-driven site.
Document and communicate recommendations clearly to the team.
Occasional on-call support to troubleshoot GA4 reporting and implement new events/audiences.
