Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. seeks a Palletizer Operator for the G Shift at our York, PA facility. You will support the Warehouse Coordinator by directing workflow and coordinating palletizer and stretch wrapper activities in a high-volume environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years in distribution operations, with preferred standup forklift experience and strong safety, organizational, and communication skills. Overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of distribution operations experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred experience operating a standup forklift.
• Mechanical/technical ability to troubleshoot and perform PMs.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and follow plant safety policies at all times.
• Direct product workflow from stretch wrappers to storage locations.
• Maintain adequate pallet supply for palletizer use.
• Coordinate changeovers of palletizers and stretch wrappers.
• Coordinate end-of-work orders with operators and other staff.
• Ensure line clearance during changeover to new work order.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform PMs on palletizers and related equipment.
• Provide raw materials to palletizer area (wrap, labels, etc.).
• Inspect pallets against quality standards and document results.
• Assist with training and certification programs.
