Job summary

Aviagen is a leading poultry breeding company hiring for the Grower-Aviagen Partnership (G.A.P.) Team. The role focuses on coordinating activities from move to disinfect/shavings, fostering grower relations, and ensuring timely communications across departments.

The candidate should have a BS or equivalent experience, poultry exposure, strong multitasking and communication skills, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends; a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify all activities from move/depletion to disinfect/shavings.
• Foster and strengthen contract grower relations and inter-department communication.
• Communicate deadlines clearly to necessary people and ensure timelines are met.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Daily local travel within the regional production base.
• Uphold bio-security and health & safety responsibilities; perform other tasks as needed.

Job Description Summary:

Aviagen is a primary poultry breeding company located in several states in the US. We are seeking an outstanding individual to become a part of the newly developed GP G.A.P. Team. The Grower-Aviagen Partnership (G.A.P.) Team has been created to facilitate the efficient and timely turn around for both rearing and lay facilities during the downtime between flocks. The G.A.P. Team will be responsible and accountable for coordinating and verifying all activities that are necessary to take place from the beginning of the move/depletion process through the disinfect/shavings process. Job Description:

The following duties will vary according to the needs of the department.
