Wellington Management Company invites applications for a Currency Forward Specialist Co-op in Trade Operations. Based in Boston, you will support CLS matching on FX trades, work closely with custodians and brokers, and help improve post-trade processes in a global market environment.

You will gain exposure to industry applications like Global Link GTSS, CLS Dashboard, and Omgeo, while developing communication with traders, sales assistants, brokers, and custodians worldwide.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; detail-oriented.
• Interest and understanding of financial markets and products is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with FX brokers, traders, sales assistants and custodians to ensure timely and accurate cash payments relating to foreign exchange.
• Monitor all CLS FX trade activity and ensure all eligible trades are matched in a timely fashion.
• Work with custodians and brokers to resolve issues related to settlement of FX trades.
• Help with the weekly review of physical mail.
• Ad hoc project work.
