Job Description:
This job is a Federal Work Study, non-benefited position in the Nursing Science Divisionthat reports totheADN Clinical Coordinator.Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a federally funded program by theDepartment of Education. This program provides part-time jobs for undergraduate students with significant financial need and is administered by the FWS Coordinator, and the Office of Financial Aid,in accordance withthe law, federal regulations, and with instructions from the United States Department of Education.
Hours: Days and Hours are flexible up to19hours per week.
MinimumQualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.Must beeligible for funds through the Federal Work Study Program for the current semester at Gwinnett Technicaland be in good academic standing.Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and be able to handle confidential information.Candidates must be available approximately 19 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the minimum qualifications,you mustbe able to file accurately, use computer programs and office machines, and usethe telephone. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload; use proper judgment in directing questions to appropriate staff forassistance.Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and be able to handle confidential information.

Under close supervision,providesclerical support, officeassistance, andassistancein the laboratories in the Nursing Science Division.At assigned supervisor’s direction, provides general information andassistanceto internal and external customers.
