Job summary

Futu US Inc. is seeking a Futures Operations Manager to lead daily post-trade support for futures and derivatives in a retail broker-dealer context.

You will oversee trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, controls, vendor coordination, and scalable client-service workflows. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in brokerage or derivatives operations, strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle, and FINRA/SEC familiarity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in brokerage, trading, derivatives, settlement, clearing operations, or back-office operations.
• Experience supporting a retail broker-dealer, online brokerage, fintech, exchange, or clearing firm is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with FINRA, SEC, CFTC, NFA, and exchange rules.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and exception-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Operations, or related field.
• Experience with perpetual contracts (perps) or crypto derivatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily post-trade operational processes for futures and derivatives, including trade capture, allocations, confirmations, expirations, exercises, settlements, and exceptions.
• Manage daily trade, position, cash, fee, and account reconciliations across systems and partners; investigate breaks promptly.
• Support operational lifecycle for retail customer accounts including transfers and inquiries.
• Partner with Product, Trading, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Tech to operationalize new products and market access.
• Ensure regulatory and exchange requirements are met; coordinate documentation and audits.
• Establish and maintain daily controls, escalation procedures, and reporting.
• Identify manual processes; develop scalable procedures and automation opportunities.
• Serve as operational contact for internal teams and external partners to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain written procedures and training materials for futures operations.
