As our primary stroke unit, proudly recognized with The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Thrombectomy‑Capable Stroke Center Certification, you’ll be part of a team delivering some of the most advanced stroke and neurology care in the region. From acute stroke interventions to complex surgical neurology cases, you’ll work with cutting‑edge technology, remote telemetry and a tight‑knit interdisciplinary team that thrives on collaboration and excellence.
You’ll also partner with MercyOne Ruan Neurology Care, central Iowa’s largest and longest‑running comprehensive neurology clinic. Their experts use the newest research, innovative technologies and active clinical trials to create individualized treatment plans for conditions affecting the brain, spine and nerves. With seamless collaboration across Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurosurgery, and Pediatric Neurology, our patients receive coordinated, world‑class care at every stage.

Participants receive monthly payments beginning with their JumpStart agreement and continuing through one month after graduation, for a maximum of 9 months.
