Job summary

Packaging Services Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Management Trainee to join our McAdoo, PA operation. You will rotate through key departments, learn production planning, and support process improvements to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining quality.

The program trains you to lead teams, allocate resources, and manage schedules in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. Salary starts in the mid range with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Admin, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage and develop a team of machine operators and supervisors.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, or 5S/6S.

Responsibilities

• Supervise manufacturing activities in line with safety, quality, and productivity policies.
• Manage a team of machine operators and plan production schedules for multiple centers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and optimize production through Lean initiatives.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure safety standards and compliance on the production floor.
