Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and monitor steam power plant equipment in a safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound manner.
• Recognize safety hazards and follow safety guidelines for personal protection and public safety.
• Observe variations in operating conditions and interpret readings to troubleshoot equipment.
• Monitor and record data using charts, gauges, annunciator systems and logs as directed.
• Perform routine cleaning of the work area.
• Arrange own transportation to the work location and may be reassigned as needed.
