Job summary

Intuitive Surgical seeks a Systems Analyst (Robotic Control Engineer) to advance algorithms for the Ion Endoluminal System, Intuitive’s platform for minimally invasive biopsy in the lungs. You will analyze, tune, and debug key robotics software and contribute to tool development. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to design software, test performance, integrate hardware, and document IP while improving workflows and supporting product transitions from design to manufacturing.

Primary Function of Position

Systems Analysts (Robotic Control Engineers) are primarily responsible for generating, tuning, and debugging the key algorithms associated with Intuitive Surgical products and providing technical analytic assistance to other engineering groups. As a member of the Systems Analyst team working on the Ion Endoluminal System (Intuitive’s platform for minimally invasive biopsy in the peripheral lung), you will work on both robotic algorithms and the development of tools and software infrastructure that support those algorithms. The successful candidate will have the technical depth to manage deep analysis problems and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team to drive future designs and improvements into the product.
