Job summary

Rock'n Dough Pizza + Brewery is hiring friendly servers to own the guest experience in a fast-paced, rock-inspired venue in Cordova, TN. You’ll welcome guests, make recommendations, and ensure accurate orders while delivering high-energy service with a smile.

Experience isn’t required beyond a passion for great food and drinks; we’ll train you on our menu, allergen safety, and alcohol service. Competitive hourly wage with tips and growth opportunities await the right team member.

Qualifications

• Availability nights/weekends/holidays (busiest times).
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to ~40 lbs.
• Valid food handler + alcohol service certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol per local law.

Responsibilities

• Own the guest experience: warm welcome, confident recommendations, memorable service.
• Read the room: pace service, refills, and course timing.
• Know the menu: pizzas, apps, pastas, seasonal features, and house beers; suggest pairings.
• Sell through service: sample tastings and thoughtful upsell moments.
• Keep it tight: pre-bus, reset, verify orders, close the loop on every request.
• Fix the issue & the feeling: use recovery steps to turn misses into wow.
• Play as a team: assist during rush and handoffs.

What you’ll do (aka your setlist)

• Own the guest experience: warm welcome, confident recs, memorable table touches.
• Read the room: pace courses, time refills, stage share plates, anticipate needs.
• Know the menu: pizzas, apps, pastas, seasonal features, and house beers (quick pairings = big wins).
• Sell through service: suggest pairings, samples in taster glasses, and “you’ve gotta try this” moments.
• Keep it tight: pre-bus, reset, verify orders, and close the loop on every request.
• Fix the issue & the feeling: use our RHYTHM recovery steps to turn misses into “wow.”
• Play as a team: jump on running food, expo handoffs, and host assists during rush.
