Job summary

Rock'n Dough Pizza + Brewery in Nashville is seeking a welcoming Host to set the vibe, greet guests, and help the flow of the dining room. You’ll be at the forefront, delivering energetic service in a fast-paced, music-driven environment.

Expect to manage the waitlist, seat guests with intention, and communicate clearly with servers and managers to keep service smooth. Training and growth paths to future roles are available, with competitive hourly pay and tips where applicable.

• Keep the lobby clean, menus ready, and bathrooms tidy on cadence.
• Deliver headliner hospitality so every guest feels seen and cared for.

What you’ll do (your setlist)

• Own first & last impressions: greet with eye contact and a genuine welcome; thank guests on the way out.
• Run the floor flow: manage the waitlist, quote accurate times, rotate sections fairly, and seat with intention.
• Read the room: match energy to the moment, accommodate special needs, and solve small problems before they grow.
• Communicate nonstop: sync with servers, bartenders, expo, and managers so pacing stays smooth.
• Phones & to-go: answer phones, take clear messages, and help with to-go handoffs when needed.
• Keep it tight: keep the lobby spotless, menus ready, high chairs/boosters clean, and bathrooms checked on cadence.
• Champion Headliner Hospitality: help every guest feel seen and taken care of—like a VIP.

Basics & requirements

• Flexible availability (nights/weekends/holidays).
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to ~30 lbs.
• Comfortable with phones, waitlist apps, and light computer/POS use.
• Follows local age and work eligibility requirements.

Compensation: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
