Status: Full Time/Supervisor/Exempt/Non-Exempt

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and a financially successful club.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise team members.
2. Oversee member service to ensure all team members provide excellent customer service at all times.
3. Participate actively in front desk tasks: greeting members, conducting gym tours, addressing member questions/issues.
4. Support team members and club members as needed.
5. Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
6. Coach and counsel team members to meet company standards.
7. Ensure the gym opens and closes promptly.
8. Train staff on current marketing promotions.
9. Complete onboarding processes for new hires in Paycom.
10. Ensure the club is open and staffed during all business hours.
11. Implement and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
12. Order supplies and track inventory.
13. Exhibit excellent customer service, listening actively, empathizing, and working collaboratively to resolve issues.
14. Demonstrate tact and professionalism in all interactions.
15. Maintain effective communication with staff and other departments to enhance productivity and prevent misunderstandings.

Minimum Qualifications

• Honesty and a strong work ethic.
• At least 1 year of managerial experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift.
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
