Job Summary

The Club Director actively develops and sustains relationships that grow the presence of the Club in the community by leading and cultivating partnerships with community organizations and regional school systems to advance programs at the Club site. The Club Director will champion the pursuit of Club Excellence by leading the operational, fiscal and management aspects of the Club.

We are currently hiring for multiple vacancies throughout many of our clubs!

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Four years of direct service. You have a demonstrable record of planning and implementing youth programs.
    • *Relevant degree may be substituted for equivalent years of direct youth service expertise.
    • 2 years supervisory experience. You have led a team of direct and indirect reports by providing support, coaching, and feedback, supervision, and guidance to ensure a high performing team. You have collaborated on the hiring of direct reports.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bilingual- Spanish language preferred
    • Performance management. You have demonstrated the ability to assist with the performance and development of employees through clear performance objectives and enforcement of excellent internal controls.
    • Safety and compliance. You have served as an onsite compliance expert to ensure all employees, volunteers, and other individuals follow safety protocols, policies, and organization procedure.
    • Incident de-escalation. You have served as a point of escalation, feedback, and approval for incidents and submitted incident reports.
    • Budgets. You have assisted in budget development; monitor and report variances in expenditures and meet or exceed all grant requirements and deadlines for grants.
    • Recruiting. You have created creative and effective recruitment strategies, planning and implementation to bring in new youth to programs.
    • Current or prior experience working at a Boys and Girls club
    • Possession of a teaching certification or a background

    Conditions of Employment

    • The position requires passing criminal and driving records investigations, and reference checks.?
    • The position must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured under the company's insurance policy.
    • The position will primarily work indoors. Accordingly, the ability to use a variety of equipment including janitorial and office equipment is required.
    • Some job duties require the ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, reach, bend, and lift objects weighing in excess of 25 lbs. Outdoor work and moderate physically demanding activities may be required on occasion.
    • Strong English proficiency is required for this position to ensure effective communication with staff, club members, and families, as well as to follow safety and procedural guidelines accurately.

    Summary

    Status: Full-time, Exempt

    Salary: $56,000 - $62,000

    Hours: 40 hours/week, occasional weekends.
